Spring Gala – April 20, 2013
The Annual Gala takes place every Spring, and is the major fundraiser for The Heritage Society. Everyone is invited to enjoy a fabulous evening of dining, dancing, and live auction and the presentation of the beautiful Senior Heritage Belles to family and friends. A live band and the making of special memories complete this festive evening and Heritage tradition.

Holiday Home Tour and Trunk Show

Catch the Christmas spirit at this year’s annual Holiday Home Tour and Trunk Show! This annual festive event is held the weekend before Thanksgiving to welcome the season and put visitors in a holiday mood! For the Home Tour, the 1870 Giddings Stone Mansion, the 1843 Giddings Wilkin house, and homes of historic or architectural note are beautifully decorated for Christmas, hosted by Heritage Belles in period dress, and open to the public. Tickets are $15.00 per person, good for both days, and available only at the Mansion at 2203 Century Circle.
Also at the Mansion is the Holiday Trunk Show where visitors can do all their holiday shopping in one stop! The Mansion is filled with vendors with unusual and unique items for home and hearth, including decor, fashion and accessories, jewelry of silver and pearls, holiday treats, gingersnaps, toffee, fudge and pickles as well as delicious meal starters, some antiques, shabby chic painted furniture, those hard to find Mexican dresses and tops, books, and more. You’re sure to find something for everyone on your list, and don’t forget to treat yourself!
This year’s shopping will begin November 22nd, (tickets will be available at the door) and will continue through the weekend beginning at 10 am on Saturday. Saturday’s extended shopping with wine and cheese will be from 5 pm to 6 pm. Sunday’s shopping will be from 10 am to 5 pm. Home tours are from 1 pm to 4 pm both days.
